Kennesaw Tree Lighting

Today was Jon's day off, so he took Alex to see Harry Potter, The Goblet of Fire. Kaitlyn and the baby stayed home with me. I thought it might be a little too scary for Kaitlyn on the big screen. I will probably let her watch it when it comes out on video though. After they got home, we all packed up and went to the Tree Lighting in downtown Kennesaw. We got a late start. By the time we got there, got everyone out of the car and in their strollers/jackets/etc, and headed over to the tree--we heard the countdown. 3, 2, 1.........and all I could see was the star at the top light up. We walked over anyways and looked at the tree and heard 1 or 2 Christmas carols before it was over. It was pretty cold outside too, so we didn't hang out long. Maybe we will try again next year and get an earlier start. :)
