Mountain View Christmas Performance and Party

Kaitlyn's Christmas performance at her school was this morning. She looked absolutely beautiful in her red, satin-y Christmas dress. I even let her wear my perfume this morning since it was such a special day. Her class performed the song Away In A Manger. Kaitlyn sang loudly and clearly. She even danced around a little. :) During one part they passed out little bells for them to shake. My little diva demanded a blue bell. Lately blue has been her favorite color. The kids did a wonderful job!

After the performance, we headed back to the classroom for the party. Kaitlyn was the first child seated to eat and the last one to get up. :) Her teachers were joking about her healthy appetite! Then they worked on a craft. She made a beautiful wreath out of a green paper plate, paper leaves, and red cotton ball "berries". She then headed over to the Pin the Nose on the Reindeer Game. She got the nose almost exactly in the right spot! They danced around to jazzy Christmas music and then read a Christmas story. Kaitlyn had such a good time!

Baby Alyssa slept through the night for the first time last night. I am sure it was some sort of fluke thing that won't happen again for three years, but I definitely got a good night's sleep for one night!
