Alyssa's One Month Check Up

Alyssa had her one month checkup this morning. She is certainly thriving! Remember she weighed 7 lbs, 9 ozs at birth? Well, she is now weighing in at a grand total of 11 lbs, 7 ozs!! She is in the 91% for her weight. The doctor said they like to see babies gain around 2 pounds in the first month and baby Alyssa doubled that! They couldn't believe that she is exclusively breastfed. My friend Allison said that I must be producing breastcream instead of breastmilk. :) Alyssa is also now 22 inches long (73%) and her head is 14.5cm (39%). She has a little peanut head like Jon's! Otherwise she is very healthy. She has a touch of reflux, but nothing that requires extra attention. She also has a touch of the baby acne, but it is already starting to clear up. It is almost like baby Kaitlyn all over again, except bigger. Our next checkup is at 2 months and she will get her first booster shot. I am not looking forward to that one at all!
